What are Boards?

Lumi Boards are like digital whiteboards or cork boards…they are a place to stick your Cards onto, just like you'd stick post-its or Cards on wall.  These are great for pitching cast, putting a mood board together, looking at location options, building a rough edit, show or event running orders, or having a plan of attack accessible online for everyone to see.

These are editable live and from anywhere you are in the world.  Cards can live on multiple Boards at once, different Boards allow you to display the same Card in different ways.

Lumi has two types of Board layouts:

Grid Boards

Grid Boards allow you the flexibility to place Cards wherever you like.  You can adjust the size, shape, and spacing of your Cards with ease. Here is an example of a Grid Board with cast Cards:

Column Boards

These have well, columns. Similar to those complicated whiteboards covered with whiteboard tape.

You can add Cards or even just text and slots to them, perfect for programming or rundowns etc.

Or here used as a rundown / programming Board:

To add a Slot, simply click on the + Add Slot at the bottom of each Column or choose add slot from the column menu.

You can click and type straight into a Slot to add text to it.

To change the background colour or font colour on your slot, hit the small settings wheel.
